Hanes HBI Mascot

HBI Mascot recently went under a redesign that received no UX direction prior to client approval. I documented areas in the new designs that failed in the user experience, and made improvements to pages that were designed out of scope of budget and hours.

  • Created new design mock-ups for the development team.
  • Product/feature managed the development team to verify all changes were accpetable and were delivered on time.
Viking Cruises

The client wanted a way to send out gifts to recent travelers on their cruise line.

  • Wireframed and developed functionality of a simplified e-commerce experience.
Sears Evoke

Client has their own art house that requested creation of an online tool where they can show their photography to other divisions within Sears.

  • Wireframed and developed functionality of an online software application.
  • Provided design concepts for wireframes.
  • Created UI designs.
  • Worked with development team to build out functionality.
Chick-Fil-A

Client has a specific site that shows the quality and care that goes into making their food products.

  • Reviewed all functionality from current website, and made recommendations to the client to improve the UX of existing funtionality.
  • Vetted all updates, and acted as product manager for development team.
J&J Flooring

Client wanted a calculator that would estimate differences in flooring costs based on different competitors and materials.

  • Wireframed out interactive calculator in custom HTML/CSS.
  • The calculator became an online website within a custom-built CMS.
Walmart Financial

Re-coded a design to be AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliant.

Responsibilities:

  • Markup language was converted to full HTML5/CSS3 support.
  • Included additional tags for audio cues.
  • Fonts, buttons, and UI colors were reworked for high contrast.
  • All fonts were set to HTML type so they could be resized.
BNP Paribas

Created storyboards in Adobe Illustrator for an e-learning tool to train employees about internet security. The final project was delivered in Flash.

Responsibilities:

  • Designed 120 storyboard animations using the Art Director 's client-approved art boards.
  • Documented transitions from slide to slide, and the animations within each slide.
  • Synced animation to audio.
Internap

Developed a microsite for specifically targeted for SEM.

Responsibilities:

  • Marked up design with full HTML5/CSS3 support.
  • Implemented jQuery throughout the site for functionality
Second Wind Dreams

Marked up a design for the web, and handled all front-end development.

Senior Visual Designer

Continued projects from Northridge, and began transitioning into Perficient's clientele which included design work for BJ's Wholesale, jQuery development for The United States Airforce, building website demos for Verint, and updating site maps and icons for Ameren's existing site (an energy provider for Middle-America).

Tanaka Power Tools

Redesigned existing site to match the brand guidelines of their parent site, Hitachi. Tanaka's new site is managed in Sitefinity.
